Food this good should be illegal. Sara-Lou, Becky and Harvey were fabulous hosts for our ladies afternoon tea. All of our friends were treated to a feast, delicious sandwiches, salad, coleslaw, crisps, scones and cakes. Everything was incredibly fresh, and made with love. Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic.

Is this really the best cafe, tea room in Nottingham? Whilst on a little errand in Arnold we decided to pop in for a snack to try it out. On arrival it was very busy inside. The only free tables were outside which we don't mind. But then the heavens opened and fortunately a table came free inside. We had our two doggies with us. Are they allowed in? Of course, they are most welcome. They even have a sticker in the window to say Dogs Welcome. Which we wish a lot of other places did this, so we know before choosing a place to visit. This is also something we find in venues that say they are dog friendly. Just to say dogs are welcome outside is not totally dog friendly. What about when we have a British summer? We realise not everybody likes dogs. Our's are very well behaved, maybe more so than certain younger customers at times. Any guesses what we mean? Anyway,on seeing what the other tables were being served,we just wanted to order everything off the menu. To keep it real, we both ordered one of their Melts which are all priced £7.90. One Tuna Mayonnaise & Chicken,Chorizo & chilli jam. Served with salad and coleslaw. They were both the best sandwiches ever. The melted cheese and the crispy bits hanging over the plate was a delight. We were going to have a cream tea after, but we were defeated by and incredibly filling sandwich. The cakes in the counter looked so tempting. We'll have to leave that for a definate return visit. The staff were so friendly ,as were the other customers too. To answer the question,"Is this really the best cafe in Nottingham?" If it's not, we wanna know where is? Because this little bit of heaven in the centre of Arnold would take some beating.

From the moment I walked up to this tearoom, I noticed the lovely warm feel of the place. When you walk inside, you can see the trendy, and home-like khaki green. You can hear the buzz of conversations of people of all ages, children to, as my nine year old sister calls it, The Granny Age. The cafe has a really nice wooden look. The service was very quick, only taking about five minutes to arrive, even when they were busy. The coffee taste as coffee-ey as they can get! I would recommend the toffee tray bake to have on the side. The staff are really friendly, and I would definately go again!

What a lovely new tea room and coffee shop for Arnold. I was looking forward to it and didn't let me down. The cake slices were massive and my capuccino lovely. The atmosphere was lovely and very friendly. They have a menu for bits and lunch as well. I think the new AMP got it right with this lovely coffee shop and can't wait to go to their new announced Afternoon Tea.

This is a great place to eat. The food is very good quality, portions are great , especially if you have a salad bowl. I took my mum there on Saturday. I had a cheese n pickle melt which is basically cheese n pickle on toast but the bread is not your average, the cheese had loads of flavour and there is also a lot of it and the pickle is loaded on as well. The service is great. It is worth booking as it gets very busy and with good reason.

We've visited 1 Market Place a few times since it opened but we've become regular visitors since having our baby earlier this year. Their customer service is excellent. They are incredibly welcoming and make you feel at home. They are always patient and accommodating with our pram (which is hugely appreciated on limited sleep whilst manoeuvring a pram that feels like a tank!). The coffee is always tasty, avocado on toast is scrumptious and the freshly baked cakes are incredible! (The jam and coconut is my personal fave!). Thank you!

This is a fantastic place to eat. I had lunch there today with my daughter for my birthday and it was so good. That prawn avocado board was to die for. The best bit was, they were out of prawns when I got there, and the staff went above and beyond to make it available for me. Thank you all so much. You made my day. Would recommend this to anyone. I'll definitely be back.
